In this November, a new state-of-the-art MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) machine is being introduced into the radiology department of Clinic Saint-Jean, located on the site Botanique.
After some renovations on the 1st floor of the site Botanique, the radiology department is once again welcoming patients in need of an MRI. This latest-generation machine operates with an algorithm that reduces the examination time and provides doctors with superior-quality images.
A dedicated team at your service
Due to its configuration, this new machine allows for examinations for both children and people with reduced mobility (PRM).
Moreover, a dedicated and permanent team takes care of patients, meaning that the same individuals consistently provide high-quality service.
The team consists of technologists and nurses in medical imaging and specialized radiologists.
Increased comfort and anxiety reduction
For patient comfort, as well as for the teams and individuals on nearby floors, the room housing the new MRI has been completely soundproofed, significantly reducing typical disturbances.
Thanks to the new algorithm, the examination duration is shortened, minimizing the time the patient spends inside the machine.
Additionally, colored LED lighting and nature images on the ceiling have been installed to reduce anxiety during the examination.
The tube through which the patient enters during the examination is wider, providing increased comfort.
