Geriatric day hospital

We make use of multidisciplinary management to carry out  geriatric evaluations, surveys and cross-disciplinary rehabilitation scheduled over the course of one day of examinations for elderly and infirm patients, thus avoiding the need for them to return repeatedly to hospital or be hospitalised.

At the geriatric hospital you will be attended to by various persons who will be on the cross-disciplinary team, depending on your personal care programme. A consultation with the geriatrician is scheduled for each patient. The geriatric nurse will prepare you for the necessary examinations, provide you with any care and attend to you during the day.

You may be seen by any of the following:

  • Occupational therapist,
  • Speech therapist,
  • Physiotherapist,
  • Social worker,
  • Dietician,
  • Neuropsychologist, etc.

The geriatric day hospital has a calm, pleasant, comfortable environment for patients and their personal care attendants, especially in the large lounge. It also has the benefit of a lovely view on the heights of the Botanique’s district.

Any stay at the geriatric day hospital must be requested in writing by the individual’s physician.
