Your physician may refer you to the medical day hospital for a diagnostic examination or therapeutic treatment. You will return home after the examination and/or treatment.
Admission and opening hours
Admission is organised at the Botanique location (Route 150). On arrival, register at the day hospital administration office; do not go to admissions.
If you wish, you can have a family member or relative accompany you.
The department is open from 7h30 to 18h, Monday to Friday.
Items to take with you
Remember to take the following documents with you:
- Your ID card or passport
- Your hospital insurance card if you have one or cost coverage
- Your medical prescription
We advise you to keep as little luggage as possible in your room. Avoid bringing valuable items or large sums of money with you. If you must do so, be advised that some rooms are equipped with safes.
During your stay
You have a choice of a single room with two or four beds. Some treatments are performed in a comfortable armchair in the day room.
Depending on the type of examination or treatment, you will be served a meal or a snack. If required because of your health condition, a dietician will give you advice and answer your questions.
A self-service restaurant and a cafeteria are available to the person accompanying you and to any visitors.
The 2-bed rooms and the private rooms are equipped with a radio and a television set. Your family and friends will be able to reach you directly through a fixed-line telephone by dialling 02/221.95.07.
If you do not have GSM and need to make a telephone call (to summon a taxi, for example) you can ask the reception at your location to do this for you, at a charge of 0.5 Euros.
You can leave the hospital after treatment and examination. Your physician will determine the time of your discharge in consultation with you.
You will find all of the information on the Cost page.
