Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a particularly important time for Clinic Saint-Jean. Once again this year, it's an opportunity to participate in the major awareness campaigns organized worldwide and to emphasize the importance of breast cancer screening in the fight against cancer.

The Breast Care Clinic team has planned a wide range of activities to showcase its exceptional patients:

  • October 6th, 13:00 - Opening of the art exhibition featuring works of art and a floral mural created during art therapy sessions under the guidance of Valérie Cruysmans.
  • October 6th, 13:30-15:00 - Pink walk to the Jardin Botanique, balloon release, and coffee/tea time for patients, healthcare professionals, and supporters.
  • Every Thursday afternoon in the month of October at the City2 shopping center: our healthcare professionals are available to the public to answer questions about screening, warning signs, and more.

The rest of the program involves specialists in the field:

  • October 12th: Invited in Marseille by the International Patient Experience Symposium, Caroline Goossens, a reference nurse, will present the "Hormono Café" concept, which she created to allow patients undergoing hormone therapy to come together and share their experiences, along with psychologist Eléonore de Bergeyck. Congratulations to them!
  • January 16th, 2024: Breast Clinic symposium on the theme: "Too Young for Breast Cancer? The Role of the Primary Care Physician." Registration via sj-symposium@clstjean.be.
