Clinic Saint-Jean launches a new modern website complete with new functionalities


Brussels, 28 January 2016. Clinic Saint-Jean, a private hospital in the heart of Brussels, is today launching its new internet website. This project is in alignment with the Clinic’s desire to provide a clear, structured communication platform that is in step with the latest technology and communication methods. In addition to integrating current ergonomic and functional standards, the website introduces several new features for patients, health professionals, job seekers  as well as visitors. Through this new website, Clinic Saint-Jean intends to give our news items and social media improved visibility.

Thanks to this new site, visitors have access to more detailed and comprehensive information on our range of medical services (departments, in-patient units, specialist clinics) as well as information on our healthcare providers.

Some new features and functionalities of the new website :

  • Visibility for our specialist clinics covering multidisciplinary teams and care services (Cancer Clinic, Breast Care Clinic, Obesity Clinic, EHB, etc.)
  • Online appointment request form, sent directly to our Contact Centre. A representative calls the patient back within 4 hours or by the following working day.
  • A professional working space for general practitioners. By logging in, they are given access to personal information (direct numbers for our specialists, rapid scheduling of appointments for their patients, etc.).
  • Each specialist at Clinic Saint-Jean has his own personal page, with his photo, consultation schedule and any other useful information.
  • Two efficient search engines, one for medical service, and the other for the entire site.
  • A Jobs Section where jobseekers, trainees and students can apply online.
  • Fast, easy access to our various social media. our “Twitter” news feed is displayed on our homepage.
  • Improved visibility of our news items, social media and events.

With its ‘responsive design’ and ‘mobile first’ approach, the new website and various functionalities are also ideally suited to all of the media used by our visitors, whether they use Smartphones, tablets or computers.

Through this new website, we  want to convey a modern image while preserving the human dimension that has characterised us for so many years. It is also important for us to use current technology to communicate with our patients (and potential patients), partners and visitors, which we were not doing sufficiently in the past.
