At the Breast Care Clinic, the full complement of the medical and paramedical teams form part of a single facility working closely together as a perfectly coordinated unit to provide you with professional, compassionate service. Within this same facility mammography, as well as consultations with the breast surgeon, medical oncologists and radiotherapists are offered. The mastology referral nurses and the psychologist are also on hand at the clinic.
Breast cancer patients are therefore subject to a comprehensive form of management. The entire team will at every stage consider the various alternatives, taking into account the patient’s experiences and medical history, in order to be able to recommend the most appropriate treatment.
The nursing team is available to reassure the patient, keep her informed, answer her questions and provide support from the moment of screening and throughout any treatment.
If you notice swelling, a red spot, a lump, or any other problem affecting your breasts, please contact the Breast Clinic secretariat at 02/221.97.97 (select option 2), or send an email to breastcare@clstjean.be.
You may also ask your general practitioner to contact us directly.
If necessary, we will schedule an appointment for a mammogram/ultrasound and/or a consultation with one of our specialists as soon as possible.
