Plastic surgery

Our department is made up of 3 surgeons who offer services covering 2 distinct but complementary disciplines: corrective surgery and aesthetic surgery.

The purpose of corrective surgery is to restore an anomalous or missing part of the body, which is causing functional or possibly psychological disorders. This field covers among other things:

  • Post-cancer breast reconstruction surgery;
  • Hand surgery;
  • Surgery on skin tumours (carcinoma, melanoma);
  • Treatment of acute or chronic scars (sores, burns,…).

The purpose of aesthetic surgery is to restore self-image impaired to the extent of making life difficult for our patients from a psychological point of view.

This type of surgery, chosen for personal reasons, mainly covers facial surgery:

  • Facelifts;
  • Eyelid, nose and ear surgery;
  • Facial feminisation (FFS).

It also involves breast surgery (volume reduction and augmentation, remodelling), bodylift (liposuction, liposculpture) as well as surgery on the abdominal wall (after multiple pregnancies or bariatric surgery: gastric banding, sleeve, gastric by-pass…).

These types of surgery are performed after thoughtful consideration by the patient, and after the practitioner has taken particularly care to provide the patient with comprehensive information.

The department’s 3 surgeons work as a team to ensure optimal patient management and continuity of medical care.
