From 2 May 2016, we will be rearranging the access ramp for ambulances entering our new accident and emergency premises (rue du Marais 114). The work will take at least 4 months. What are the short and long-term effects of this work going to be?

  • The pedestrian entrance will be off-limits. There will no longer be pedestrian access via rue du Marais 114 to go to any department whatsoever (the laboratory, for example).
    • You will access the departments via Boulevard du Jardin Botanique 32 (the main entrance to the Clinic).
    • All deliveries will be made on Rue des Cendres.
  • The vehicular entrance (for patients or deliveries) will be off-limits.
    • Level 1 parking (near the entrance to the old A&E) will be rearranged to allow the various departments affected to have spaces for their deliveries and/or their patients.
    • All deliveries will be made on rue des Cendres.
    • More specifically, for the duration of the work, the radiotherapy car park will be inaccessible. If you have to go to radiotherapy, you can use a few of the spaces in the zone 1 car park. The present radiotherapy car park will become accessible again via rue des Cendres once the work is completed.
  • The first 10 days will be devoted to demolishing the concrete. Noise and vibrations are to be expected for the entire duration of the project. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We will keep you informed during the course of this project. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
