Since June 2023, major changes have been taking place in the radiology service at our Botanique site in the centre of Brussels. Work has been carried out to renovate the reception area, the secretariat and the two X-ray rooms. A preparation room has also been created for the two scanners, offering patients the comfort of being perfused in an armchair rather than on an examination table.

Greater comfort and improved ergonomics

While these refurbishments offer greater comfort and improved ergonomics for our patients, our staff are also benefiting from these improvements, thanks to larger, more comfortable rooms. The alternation of coloured and neutral coverings adds depth and helps with signage and patient orientation, while adapted wall protection and automatic doors make everyday life easier. Future expansion possibilities have been included in the refurbishments.

New equipement and a wider range of MRI appointments

The department has also acquired two new X-ray machines (Luminos), and a new mobile machine is currently being tested. At the end of 2023, the clinic has also been equipped with a new, state-of-the-art MRI scanner, offering one of the shortest waiting times for an appointment in Brussels. MRI appointment slots have been extended not only during the week, but also by appointment at weekends and on public holidays.
