Hélix, our clinic’s psychiatric day hospital, will on Friday 25 March from 14h to 19h be participating in the 10th edition of “Artistic Journey”.
Launched in 2007 by the mental health consultation platform, with the support of the FPS (federal public service) for Healthcare, this initiative is being undertaken on the occasion of world mental health day.
The objective of “Artistic Journey” is to highlight the artistic creations produced at the day hospital and to present the work coming out of various therapeutic workshops.
This “Artistic Journey” is also used by Helix to show its work to a diverse audience.
It is important to remember that Helix is intended for any person with mental issues who could benefit from day therapy, within a group. The therapeutic work is based on group workshops using a variety of media and speech. This is all geared towards deploying the modalities for forging links with one another and with the world, as well as self-expression and self-discovery. It is attended by about 50 patients, about 20 of whom are daily participants.
A collective exhibition from the various institutions will also be put on from March 16 to 18 at the “Tanneurs Studios”, rue des Tanneurs 58-62 to 1000 Brussels.
