One Spot Consultation: a check-up within 2 weeks in just 10 minutes
Do you have a suspicious skin spot? Have it examined during a One Spot consultation, for which you can get an appointment within two weeks. This consultation is intended to assess one spot and help detect skin cancer at an early stage.
In just 10 minutes, the dermatologist will examine the skin spot and determine whether any further follow-up is needed.
How do you know if a skin spot is suspicious?
Follow the ABCDE rule:
- Asymmetry: Can the spot not be divided into two symmetrical halves?
- Border: Does the spot have an irregular edge?
- Color: Does the spot have different colors (white, grey, pink, red, shades of brown, or black)?
- Diameter: Is the spot larger than 6 mm?
- Evolution: Is the spot changing rapidly?
How do you make an appointment for a One Spot consultation?
You need a referral from your general practitioner (GP) or a specialist, unless you are already being followed by one of the dermatologists at Clinic Saint-Jean.
Appointments can only be made through the Contact Center: 02/221.92.21 - Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 18:00.
