- You will remain in isolation with your partner. Both of you will receive meals from the clinic.
- After the birth, if your condition and your baby's condition allow it, you will not be separated from your baby because of Covid.
- The care remains the same but is tailored to your isolation needs.

If I am infected with Covid during the period around my delivery, will my baby have additional risks and be infected too?
The scientific evidence is very reassuring regarding maternal-fetal transmission of Covid-19 disease. In utero transmission is the exception. After delivery, the risk of transmission of the disease is possible, but very low if you respect the following advice:
- Before taking care of the baby (changing, feeding, or just caress), you should wash your hands and avoid touching your face.
- You can sleep in the same room as the baby, but the baby's bed should be 1.5 to 2 meters away from yours.
- If you are breastfeeding, the mother passes on a lot of antibodies to the baby, which already protects him or her from certain infections and viruses.
- For 3 weeks, you and your partner will need to wear a mask while caring for the baby and breastfeeding. During this period, home visits should be avoided.
If I'm infected, can I breastfeed my baby?
If you are infected with Covid, but feel well, breastfeeding is possible. You can breastfeed and hold your baby while wearing a mask.
Can my partner join me to a consultation?
Yes, your partner can accompany you during an ultrasound and obstetrical consultation.
