Coordinating nurse

The coordinating nurse will be the person actually guiding you throughout your course of treatment at the clinic, from diagnosis notification to post-treatment follow-up.

She handles coordination between the various medical specialists and organises the schedules for tests and treatments. She also puts the multidisciplinary team for your treatment management into operation.

She is available to answer all of your questions and is the key person for making the connections between the various treatment phases and ensuring that the situations are clearly understood.

Her role as a coordinator is not restricted to the hospital. She also contacts patients when they are at home and contacts the attending physician and the referring medical specialist with a view to optimising treatment management through effective information communication.
