You will be admitted to the Clinic on the day before your operation or on the same day. The operation is performed under general anaesthesia by laparoscopy (5 small 1‑cm incisions).

After the surgical operation, you will be taken to the recovery room before being returned to your room. On the day after the operation, an x-ray examination (grapheme test) is performed to verify whether the operation has been successful. After this test, you will be authorised to resume eating.

You will be discharged from the Clinic on the following day:

• With a prescription for Clexan 80 mg 1x/day an Pantomed 40 mg 1x/day;
• And a scheduled appointment to see your surgeon in 3 weeks’ time and the nutritionist in a month’s time.
